I just wanted to say thanks for the recent articles concerning Traffic Stops and DUI stops. It's refreshing to be reminded of the finer points sometimes. I know that I've gotten away from calling in my stops before actually stopping sometimes. Here in KS, most people know to stay in their vehicle and not come back to ours. The other night a driver got out as soon as stopped and started walking back. Fortunately, she was a 50+ YOA woman that in the end was not a threat, but it quickly reminded me the importance of calling in the stop before we stop.
